Piers Morgan, 57, is known for his strong criticism of Meghan Markle, with the release of the new Netflix documentary fuelling more jibes directed towards the Duchess of Sussex. All the trolls raging!

The TalkTV host posted three images of his journalist wife in very suggestive and provocative poses.

In one photo, Celia could be seen with no top on, while in another she appeared to have unbuttoned her shirt, exposing her ample assets.

Piers captioned the post in view of his 8.2 million Twitter followers: “All the trolls raging that I only criticise Meghan Markle because I ‘fancied’ her & then got upset when she ghosted me…

“It has reminded me that I forgot to publicly wish my wife Celia a happy birthday yesterday. (And yes, she knows she lucked out….).”

Many social media users took to the comments to share their opinion on Piers’ bold Twitter response to the Meghan claims.

Rafaelapariciog said: “What a weird way to publicly wish your wife a happy birthday.”

Manderkj added: “@PiersMorgan you are 100% punching well above your considerable weight.” (sic)

GGMiller6477 shared: “Celia Walden is not only beuatiful but a best-selling author, journalist and columnist.

“PAYDAY is a great read for all those who appreciate wildely intelligent writers.”

Lucie814 said: “Wow!! Your wife is so incredibly beautiful!”

Slimbo32 commented: “You forgot to wish your wife a happy birthday because you were too busy tweeting about another woman again.”

However, not all the comments showed the outspoken presenter love as he was slammed for “objectifying” his wife in the post.

MatthewDaubney said: “Objectifying your wife to make a point… that’s low even for your Morgan.”

Clairemcilvenna echoed: “How utterly pathetic. Objectifying your wife.”

BrucePatterson3 added: “I really object to your objectifying women in this way Piers – my wife would be utterly appalled.”

Piers and Celia have been married since June 2010, with the pictures Piers posted being dated back to 26 years ago before the pair were an item.

Earlier this year, Piers and his wife took some time apart from each other after spending so much time together during the Covid-19 pandemic.

During an appearance on Lorraine in September, Celia said the break had been for them both.

Writing about her and Piers’ time apart, Celia wrote: “I’ve just come to the end of a six-week marriage sabbatical – as in, six weeks away from my husband and marriage.

“It’s the longest we’ve spent apart since the start of the pandemic. In fact, I don’t think we’ve spent more than a couple of nights apart for over two years, and he’ll agree with me when I say: every married couple (who has lived through three lockdowns) should do this.

“There was nothing wrong. We weren’t glitching.”

Celia went on to share how “unnatural” it is for couples to spend every waking hour with each other as she revealed five of her friend’s couples split at the height of the pandemic as “Covid tipped you over”.

She urged couples to carry out a marriage sabbatical “safely” adding in The Telegraph, that they are a thing in the US.

The pair have now reunited, with their marriage appearing to be going from strength to strength.
