As I'm A Celebrity… Get Me Out of Here! approaches once again, former campmate, Peter Andre, has revealed he would love to see his children Junior and Princess go on the show in the future.
"Junior and Princess have said they’re both up for doing I’m A Celebrity," Peter, 49, who found love in the jungle with ex Katie Price, tells us in his new column. After meeting on the show back in 2004, the former couple welcomed Junior, now, 17, and Princess, now 15.
Pete – who also shares children Amelia, eight, and five year old Theo with his 33 year old wife Emily – continued: "Junior said, 'I think we have to do that! To represent! We came from the jungle, didn’t we?’
"It’s true, they are the only offspring from that show and the only jungle babies so it might go full circle and they might go on there one day, which would be great."
This year, celebrities including Sue Cleaver, 59, Mike Tindall, 44, and Olivia Attwood, 31, will be gearing themselves up for the jungle life, and Peter is backing presenter Chris Moyles, 48, all the way.
"It’s such a great show to go on and it really is an incredible experience," he shared.
"The contestants have been landing in Australia and I think Chris Moyles will be so good," he says.
"When I was on the show he was campaigning for Mysterious Girl to go to number one, so I owe him a lot!"
Pete added: "My advice to all this year’s contestants would be to embrace the experience because it’s amazing and there’s such a small group of people who actually get the opportunity to do it."
Peter was joined by the likes of Kerry Katona, royal journalist Jennie Bond, and Neil "Razor" Ruddock as well as Katie.
It comes after the celebrities arrived Down Under for this year's series to begin, and host Dec Donnelly, 47, said: "It is very exciting, I can't wait to get going."
Dec – who hosts the show alongside pal Ant McPartlin – is now a father to son Jack and Isla with his wife Ali.
And speaking of how different the show will be now as a new father of two, he shared: "We have got the family here, baby Jack.
"And Isla is here, we have got the whole gang."
Dec explained: "It is a bit more stressful coming now, you watch less movies. But it is fine and great to be able to bring them out.
"We can have a bit of family time as well as getting the series going as well."
