Perrie Edwards teases fans with new solo music as she posts a clip showing the inside of a working studio with the caption: "This sounds so good"
The mother-of-one took to her Instagram to share her delight adding the word "crying" as if to say how proud she is of the new records.
Perrie, 28, recently teased her 15.6 million followers that she had just finished an "exciting week of meetings".
Although it is unclear exactly what these meetings could be about, her recent clip of the studio could be a clear indication that her upcoming solo album is nearing completion.
The singer posted a similarly cryptic message, telling her fans "exciting things are coming" in February. She posted a series of photographs of herself standing in a recording booth without her fellow Little Mix bandmates Jade Thirlwall and Leigh-Anne Pinnock, leaving fans to speculate over a solo single.
Fans were quick to suggest that the new mum could be releasing music of her own. One follower wrote: "Ma'am drop that single right now, while a second chimed: "Recording new music! Powerful woman!”
"I am so excited! I can't wait to hear the new music!" a third added.
In December 2020, Little Mix announced that they would not be "splitting up" but would instead be "taking a break" following the final performance in their Confetti Tour. And to reassure fans the group said: "We have plans for more music, tours and performances in the future."
But it's not just new music the star has been busy working on, she and her fiance, Alex Oxlade-Chamberlain have been planning their star-studded Disney wedding. The footballer with the footballer recently popped the all-important question on 18 June while on the couple's idyllic holiday after almost six years together.
The 28-year-old excitedly wrote: "Last night the love of my life got down on one knee and I said… YES!," on Instagram as she shared snaps of Alex's romantic proposal.
A source told OK!: "This is what Perrie has always wanted. She has a ring on her finger from a beautiful man and they have an adorable baby together, she's living her dream."
"She's working on her solo music and is really excited about getting that out there and planning her dream wedding."
In 2014, Perrie described herself as a "big child" but later stated that a beach ceremony could be a possibility with Barbados being the ideal spot to tie the knot.
