Being on the world’s stage from such a young age isn’t easy, so it’s understandable that Princess Charlotte was a little nervous as she joined her family for a Westminster Abbey carol service.
Hosted by her mother Kate, the annual Together At Christmas service saw several senior royals take part in the special event.
The service came just hours before the conclusion of Harry and Meghan’s Netflix documentary, during which the pair deepen their criticism of the Royal family.
During the latest instalment of the controversial documentary, Prince Harry claimed that he’d been forced to lie for his older brother, William, who later screamed and shouted at his younger sibling.
In the damning final three episodes, The Duke also alleged that their family also feed the media false stories about his wife Meghan Markle in a desperate bid to control the narrative.
It was unsurprising then that the little princess looked anxious after the high emotions of the day.
Joined by her elder sibling Prince George, her mother Kate Middleton and father Prince William, the youngster nervously walked through the abbey as she took part in the carol service – which will be televised later this month.
The seven year old appeared uncomfortable, crossing her fingers as she made the short walk with her family.
It’s unclear why she did this, whether she was concerned for herself or other members of the family, but the little one bravely continued.
Wearing a sweet burgundy coat which matched her mum’s wine coloured-coat, the youngster had previously been in high spirits as she arrived at the event earlier that evening.
However, she didn’t need to look far for support as she was accompanied by her aunt Pippa Middleton, as well as Princess Eugenie and Princess Beatrice.
Taking her cue from her stylish older sister, Pippa wore a dark red coat whilst Princess Eugenie opted for a classic tweed coat.
She was spotted appearing in Prince Harry’s documentary, appearing in a candid clip of the pair on a recent visit to LA.
The 32 year old is particularly close with her cousin and was also seen in a series of photographs, taken as she attended a Halloween party at The Sussex’s former London home.
However, the mum-of-one avoid questioning from the British press as she arrived at Westminster Abbey alongside her entrepreneurial husband, Jack Brooksbank.
Also in attendance was the Countess of Wessex and former Olympian, Zara Tindall who also wore a deep red coat – in a display of unity with her extended family.
Fresh off his stint on I’m A Celebrity, her husband Mike Tindall also joined the festivities wearing classic navy suit for the service.
The former rugby player is taking a more public role, following his apperance on the hit ITV reality show.
