Michael Bublé has revealed he’s debating quitting music to be a full-time father to his children.
The singer, who rose to fame in the 2000s with ridiculously catchy tracks including Haven’t Met You Yet, as well as his many Christmas songs, may be taking a step back from his successful career.
Michael shares four children with wife Luisana Lopilato: Noah, nine, Elias, six, Vida, four, and baby Cielo, born in August this year.
And despite his busy career, Michael is a devoted and hands-on dad, regularly sharing his children’s achievements on social media and singing their praises in interviews.
Now, touching on the subject of his children during an appearance on the Gaby Roslin Podcast, he admitted he’s thinking of quitting music in order to spend more time with them.
‘I’m getting close to thinking maybe I can just go and be a dad,’ he revealed, admitting he is ‘not loving’ his career as much as he should.
‘I have this picture in my head, of just me in a field with my kids and Ed Sheeran’s kids and we’re just hugging each other and picnicking and getting drunk.’
(We assume he means himself and Ed on the bevs in this scenario and not the kids.)
Michael has suggested before that he’s thought about quitting his music career, particularly after eldest son Noah was diagnosed with liver cancer in 2016, when he took two years off.
The star canceled his planned tour at the time in order to be with his family, but Noah thankfully made a full recovery and is now a healthy nine-year-old.
His recovery promoted him to write track Forever Now about the little one, who Michael has previously referred to as his ‘superhero.’
It appears Noah himself could follow Michael into a career in music, as he recently moved his dad to tears by expertly performing his song on the piano.

The singer took to Instagram in August where he showed off a clip of his eldest child expertly playing Michael’s own single, I’ll Never Not Love You.
In the video, the eight-year-old concentrates at playing every key perfectly, while Michael sings along – becoming visibly and audibly emotional several times along the way.
Michael added a cartoon heart emoji to the video, and explained in a caption: ’Noah surprised me after I was away on tour.
‘He worked so hard to learn this song. So proud of my guy.’
The proud dad added: ‘More talent in his little fingers than I have in my whole body.’
