Joking: While speaking to presenter Holly Willoughby he admitted that ‘eating cockroaches is nothing compared to what they’re doing!’
Holly went on to ask if he would put some ‘sequins on’ and take to the ice at some point in which he added: ‘I think I’d need to dress up a bit. It looks so hard.’
Matt dressed smart for the evening donning a crisp white shirt and blue jeans while sitting next to his glamorous partner Gina.
During the show, Ekin-Su Culculoglu broke down in tears after becoming the third star to be eliminated from the competition.
The Love Island star, 28, couldn’t stop the tears from falling after facing Patsy Palmer in the skate-off – which host Phillip Schofield dubbed ‘the most emotional vote we’ve ever had’.
Her exit comes despite Ekin-Su setting out to wow the audience as she drafted in her boyfriend Davide Sanclimenti for a guest appearance during her disco-themed routine.
The beauty also received a passionate kiss from her hunky, topless beau at the end of her routine, with viewers very appreciative of Davide’s cameo with one remarking: ‘He gets my vote!’
After finishing her save me skate, Ekin-Su was clearly emotional, with host Holly Willoughby telling her: ‘Don’t get upset, you’ve done yourself proud’.
Patsy and her partner Matt Evers then performed, with the former EastEnders star also bursting into tears, prompting Phil to regard it as one of the most ’emotional’ skate-off in the shows history.
When it came down to the vote, it was a clean sweep as all four judges voted to save Patsy, commenting that she pulled off the strongest performance out of them.

Speaking after being booted from the competition, the reality star said: ‘We put so much time, and all the other work I had coming up at the time, this was my priority and I gave everything to it.
‘And I love it, I fell in love with the ice.’
Phillip then said to her: ‘We love you too, and please, when you go from her tonight, please be really proud of what you did.’
