Liz Hurley has broken her silence and paid tribute to her ex-fiancé Shane Warne following his tragic death age 52.
The Australian cricket legend died yesterday after suffering a suspected heart attack.
His former fiancé actress Liz Hurley has taken to her Instagram to share a tribute to him.
Shane and Liz first met at the races and started dating towards the end of 2010, though they weren’t prepared for the global attention that their relationship would cause.
The actress, 56, shared several pictures of the couple together to her 2.3 million followers.
She captioned the post: "I feel like the sun has gone behind a cloud forever. RIP my beloved Lionheart @shanewarne23"
Liz shared some pictures of the pair together posing on the beach as well as one of them walking arm in arm on the beach.
She also added a picture of the pair at a farm with a baby lamb, and one of the two of them kissing.
Fans flocked to the post to share their condolences with the star.
One wrote: "So sorry for your loss" followed by a red heart emoji.
Another penned: "Larger than life, will be so sadly missed not just by us Aussies but people worldwide."
While a third added: "Devastating" followed by four broken heart emojis.
The couple dated for some months when Liz travelled to Australia to meet Shane’s children though the media soon picked up on the milestone.
In fact, with their names in the spotlight, photographers, new reporters and helicopters would follow their every move.
