Lily Allen looks thrilled as ex-stepdad Harry Enfield turns out to watch her perform in London’s West End
A smiling Lily Allen looked thrilled that her one-time step-father Harry Enfield was in the audience to watch her perform in her latest West End play.
The comedian – who dated Ms Allen’s mother, Alison Owen, for three years after her divorce from actor Keith Allen in 1989 – was seen walking behind the Smile singer as they left the Duke of York theatre after her performance in The Pillowman.
While Enfield, clutching a bottle of mineral water, seemed happier out of the limelight, Ms Allen, 38, was hard to miss in a psychedelic £210 dress by Danish designer Stine Goya.
She teamed the frock with a pair of Fendi blue patent leather wedge boots, priced at £1,320, and a neon green handbag.
Enfield, 62, helped raise Ms Allen and her brother Alfie in the 1990s. It has even been claimed in recent years that his iconic ‘Kevin The Teenager’ character – known for his stroppy behaviour – was based on Lily and her brother Alfie.
Ms Allen is continuing her acting career by starring in Martin McDonagh’s The Pillowman, alongside Steve Pemberton. It comes after her West End debut in 2:22 A Ghost Story.
