Former Strictly Come Dancing professional James Jordan didn’t hold back on his thoughts when discussing the latest dance-off between Angela Scanlon and Carlos Gu and Layton Williams and Nikita Kuzmin on Sunday.
Taking to X, formerly known as Twitter, James, 45, began by saying he felt “really sorry for Layton” that he was in the bottom two, but admitted he was also “not surprised”.
Critiquing his latest American Smooth performance, the dancer went on to say it was his “worst” dance yet, however still believed it was better than Angela’s Cha Cha.
In view of his 361,000 followers during the dance-off, he shared: “Ok – first time I saw that dance from Layton because I missed it last night.
“Didn’t really like it to be honest – but it’s still easily good enough to stay no matter how Angela dances now.”

The ex Strictly pro went on to say it was “Layton’s worst dance so far by a mile” but favoured him to get through.
After the two couples danced again, three out of the four judges voted to keep him in for the quarter-finals.
He received the backing from Anton Du Beke, Motsi Mabuse and Craig Revel Horwood, however Shirley Ballas preferred Angela’s routine.
The West End star will now take on movie week next Saturday against the remaining celebrity hopefuls; Annabel Croft, Ellie Leach, Bobby Brazier and Nigel Harman.
