Lauren Goodger has revealed she has picked up her daughter Lorena’s ashes after she died shortly after being born.
The Towie star announced the heartbreaking news that her daughter, who she welcomed with Charles Drury, 25, died last month. She said there were no pregnancy or labour complications.
On Wednesday, Lauren, 35, shared a photo of her one-year-old daughter Larose and a caption saying: ‘We picked up Lorena’s ashes today. She is now at home with us.’
The star announced that Lorena had died in July, saying that she is ‘broken’, as she shared a black and white photo of her holding onto Lorena’s hand, writing: ‘She was the most beautiful healthy baby I’ve ever seen just like her sister @babylarose.x … words can’t describe as a mother losing your baby that I carried for all these months perfectly and gave birth too for my angel to be taken from me.’
Lauren went on: ‘She was fine & healthy but I am not going into detail right now just know that there was nothing wrong with her or myself she was perfect I can’t understand it she is so so beautiful Larose twin so similar.
‘I am broken 💔 I am back home from hospital Me & Charlie spent as much time with our baby girl Lorena and I haven’t said my goodbye yet’.
The star added: ‘Larose she is my rock that’s getting me through this or I wouldn’t survive… I will never ever get over this but I will learn how to live everyday with Lorena in my heart she will be with me always and I will be with her again one day … My 👼 Lorena I love you so much 💔.’
Lauren later attended Lorena’s funeral and was reportedly attacked.
This week she has been seen with a black eye, including when she attended her ex-boyfriend Jake McLean’s funeral.

Following the alleged attack on Lauren, a Metropolitan Police spokesperson told Metro.co.uk: ‘Police were called at 00:37hrs on Thursday, 4 August to reports of an altercation at a residential address in Upminster, Essex.
‘A man, aged 25, was arrested on suspicion of assault. He was taken to an east London police station and subsequently bailed pending further enquiries. Enquiries continue.’
It’s been a heartbreaking time for Lauren, as this week she was also seen attending the funeral of her ex-boyfriend, Jake McLean, who died in a car crash in Turkey.
Paying tribute to McLean, who she dated for five years, Lauren asked him to ‘look after Lorena’.
