A Place in the Sun star Laura Hamilton shared footage of herself training hard in bright red gymwear in preparation for what is set to be an arduous marathon run.
The presenter is no stranger to activities outside of the Channel 4 show, as the mum-of-two is well-known for her charitable endeavours, and is even training for a pilot’s license.
However, her latest venture will see her work up quite a sweat – and the red-faced star has been practising for the event, in aid of WellChild, in her home gym.
Taking to Instagram, the 41-year-old told her 186,000 followers she had “a long way to go”.
“With [my kids] Rocco and Tahlia at home, I can’t go outside, but I’m grateful I have a little gym at home to get some training in,” she captioned her footage.

“I’m thankful to @anthonyrichpt for his training tips from afar!” Laura continued, hashtagging “#marathon” and linking to WellChild.
The charity was developed to benefit “children and young people with serious illness” and give them “the best chance to thrive – at home with their families”.
Just over this past week alone, it has organised fundraising runs in both Berlin and the Lake District, with the two events combined raising approximately £50,000.
Laura might have looked red-faced and exhausted from all the exertion in her Instagram update, but she is looking forward to intensive training to boost her fitness regime in time for the event.

On her fundraising page, Laura introduced herself and enthused: “I just wanted to say thank you for the support and encouragement you are giving me as I embark on the challenge of running my first London Marathon.”
Mentioning that she has supported WellChild for over a decade, she added: “I feel very honoured to be able to run and fundraise for them.
“Whatever you can donate to support would be gratefully received! Thank you, Thank you, Thank you!”

Laura, who shares nine-year-old Rocco and six-year-old Tahlia with her ex-husband Alex Goward, has been a supporter of numerous children’s charities in her time.
Only yesterday, she was raising awareness for the Childrens’ Trust, which aims to help youngsters with brain injuries and neurodisabilities.
She shared details surrounding a mystery project, which had taken her to Reigate, and promised that fans would see what she’d filmed in the name of the cause “soon”.
“We are so excited to be working with Laura on this project!” the company exclaimed on Instagram.
