Kim Kardashian played a very special role last Saturday as she officiated the wedding of her hair guru Chris Appleton and You actor Lukas Gage at the iconic Little White Chapel in Las Vegas.
The ceremony was held at the same venue where stars like sister Kourtney Kardashian and Travis Barker, Joe Jonas and Sophie Turner, Bruce Willis and Demi Moore, and even Frank Sinatra and Mia Farrow have previously tied the knot.
The 39-year-old Englishman and 27-year-old Californian both rocked matching black faux fur coats, leather pants, and plunging button-up shirts for their big day. Meanwhile, Kim looked stunning in a black leather corseted maxi-dress that highlighted her famous curves.
“We did it! Big thank you to @kimkardashian & @shaniatwain!” Appleton captioned his Instagram slideshow on Wednesday.
Gage added: “Ring finger where the rock is.”
Kim also celebrated the happy couple, writing: “I was so honored to be able to officiate a wedding in Vegas!!! I couldn’t be happier for you both @chrisappleton1 and @lukasgage and the surprise from @shaniatwain singing their song to them was [magic] and I love the custom @ludovicdesaintsernin dress.”
The trio later hit up a venue, possibly Planet Hollywood's Zappos Theater where Shania Twain has her Let's Go residency, and were thrilled when the five-time Grammy winner serenaded them on acoustic guitar with her classic 1997 hit, You're Still The One.
The pair first sparked dating rumours when they shared some vacation snaps from the St. Regis Punta Mita Resort in Mexico back in February 2023. And while they remained tight-lipped about their relationship at the time, they couldn't help but exchange some seriously flirty comments on Instagram.
Fast forward one month, and Appleton confirmed the rumours, telling Drew Barrymore, "I'm very happy and very much in love…meeting someone that you connect with is very special."
After a photo of the pair flashed on the TV screen, the Color Wow director added: “That’s Lukas [when we were] in Mexico.”
While neither the You alum nor Appleton revealed how or when a romance began the news broke in April 2023 that they had gotten engaged.
The lovebirds hit yet another milestone when they decided to adopt a new furry friend together in April. Gage shared a sweet selfie with their new pup, Dash, on Instagram, referring to him as "my new son."
Appleton couldn't help but swoon over the adorable pup, commenting that he was "a beauty." Gage then playfully joked, "Our genes."
Despite the rumours circulating about their relationship, Gage had initially kept his love life private. In a March 2023 interview with The New York Times, the Moonshot actor explained: "I'm a pretty open book about most things in my life, but I have a problem with the culture of everyone needing to know everybody's business and nothing can be sacred. It's a weird line that I'm still trying to figure out."
