Kate Middleton has delighted fans on social media as she shared a heartwarming clip on Wednesday evening ahead of her upcoming Christmas carol concert.
The Princess of Wales, 40, shared a short clip across the social media channels she shares with husband Prince William which showed her dressed in a chic and cozy Christmas jumper while decorating a thick and bushy Christmas tree with a variety of lights and stunning baubles.
Throughout the clip, Kate appeared to be in her element as she added the final touches to the tree, with the senior royal seen smiling on multiple occasions as she embraced the joy of the season.
Alongside the clip, she also captioned the video: “Final touches before the #TogetherAtChristmas Carol Service tomorrow”.
Dressed warmly amid the UK’s dwindling temperatures, Kate opted for her tried and tested Jade Holland Cooper jumper, which many fans may recognise from Kate’s story time on CBeebies earlier this year.
Priced at £179, any fans hoping to recreate the look will be disappointed to hear that it is currently sold out, but shoppers can sign up on the Holland Cooper website to be notified when the product comes back in stock.
Wednesday’s promotional clip for the upcoming Together At Christmas service, comes just one day before the King, Queen Consort, Prince William and other family members will be out in force to celebrate the holiday season at Westminster Abbey on 15 December.
This year, Kate’s carol concert, supported by The Royal Foundation, is dedicated to the late Queen, who died three months ago, but comes at a time of continued turmoil for the Windsors as ongoing friction continued to mount with Prince Harry and wife Meghan Markle.
Kensington Palace said: “This year’s carol service is dedicated to Her Majesty Queen Elizabeth II and the values Her Majesty demonstrated throughout her life, including duty, empathy, faith, service, kindness, compassion and support for others.
“These principles are shared and personified by the inspirational guests who have been invited to the Abbey in recognition of their tireless work to help and care for those around them.”
It will also “recognise the selfless efforts of individuals, families and communities across the UK, and celebrate and showcase the joy that human connection and togetherness can bring”.
A number of famous faces will also be participating in the festive service, including artists such as Craig David, Alexis Ffrench and Samantha Barks, while Alfie Boe and former Spice Girl Melanie C will join forces to sing a heartwarming duet.
Several “poignant readings” can also be expected during the service, with stars such as Dame Kristin Scott Thomas, Hugh Bonneville and Kadeena Cox joining Prince William in delivering them to the crowds.
The service will be broadcast on ITV1 on Christmas Eve as part of a Royal Carols: Together At Christmas programme, narrated by Catherine Zeta Jones and featuring an introduction by Kate alongside tributes to the late Queen Elizabeth II.
