Kanye West was seen at his daughter Chicago's fourth birthday bash after claiming that he was "not allowed to know" the location of the festivities.
On Saturday 15 January, Keeping Up With The Kardashians star Kim Kardashian and her sister Kylie Jenner hosted a fun-filled joint birthday party for their daughters Chicago, who turned four on January 15, and Stormi, who is set to turn four on February 1.
With L.O.L dolls-inspired cutouts of the youngsters and a plethora of cakes, sweets and activities at the pink-themed bash, the birthday appeared to be quite the family affair.
And despite claiming that he did not know the location of the bash, 44 year old rapper Kanye, who recently explained why he bought a home near his ex-wife Kim, was seen at the event in great spirits.
Wearing an all-black outfit, Kanye was seen chatting away with momager Kris Jenner at the party held at Kylie's Hidden Hills mansion, in a video posted on Atiana De La Hoya's Instagram story,
Kanye, who is dating Julia Fox, later looked every inch the doting dad as he helped little Chicago hit a piñata.
The event was clearly a success, with Kim and Khloe Kardashian documenting the day where youngsters were also treated to face painting and a giant ball pit.
However, before being seen at the bash Kanye claimed in a video he did not know where the party was being held.
"I'm just wishing my daughter a public happy birthday. I wasn't allowed to know where her party was," Kanye said in the clip.
He added: "There's nothing legal that saying that this is the kind of games that's being played, it's the kind of thing that really has affected my health for the longest and I'm just not playing, I'm taking control of my narrative this year.
"I was supposed to be in Miami recording my album. My whole schedule is all based around on me being able to take my kids to school, me being there for them, making sure that I'm in their life, that's the whole point.
"I have the money they take so many fathers just throughout America, they've been taking the fathers out of homes purposely so I'm speaking up, I'm using my voice to say, 'This ain't going to keep happening, this narrative and that… happened.'"
Kanye continued: "It's a lot of people that's not in a position where they ain't got no voice when people be playing games like this, baby mamas be playing games, the grandmas will be playing games like this, and it's like as y'all know, that ain't going to play like that with me."
Meanwhile, Kim put the drama aside as he took to her Instagram to wish her daughter Chicago a happy birthday.
"My birthday baby girl Chi Chi turns 4 today! My independent baby girl twin. You are the most lovable huggable snuggable baby girl on the planet," she wrote.
Mother of four Kim added: "The ultimate princess! I can't wait to celebrate with all of the Barbies and LOL Dolls a girl could dream of lol. You really have brought so much joy into our family and I love you so so soooo much!!!!"
