Gabby Logan On Life Beyond Midlife Good Housekeeping UK preview
Gabby Logan has opened up about “planning to escape” from her family when she was perimenopausal.
The 50-year-old appeared on the It Can’t Just Be Me podcast with Anna Richardson and shared her lowest moment while struggling with Perimenopause.
Speaking candidly, the presenter expressed: “I remember there was this one morning, it was a Sunday and I was particularly disappointed with the fact that nobody had cleared up after breakfast.
“The pots were everywhere. I came into the kitchen and I just went mad. And I sat at the table and I told them all that I’d been looking at flats in Beaconsfield.
“I hadn’t. And I was thinking of, you know, going off until they could all sort themselves.”

The television personality continued: “I mean, I was literally planning this escape where I was going to leave them all.”
Gabby said her husband Kenny Logan was especially surprised and her daughter Lois was left in tears by the situation.
“Of course, none of them had done anything particularly unusually bad, but I was obviously feeling like, I just can’t cope with you all right now,” the mum-of-three explained.
Gabby married former Scotland international rugby union player Kenny in 2001 and the couple share 17-year-old twins Reuben and Lois together.

The pair both competed on Strictly Come Dancing at the same time, back in 2007.
On the same podcast, the television personality also opened up about how menopause impacted her sex life with Kenny.
She said that she couldn’t understand why she didn’t want to have sex after losing her libido during her struggles.
Gabby explained that she wanted to keep enjoying having sex, and not feel like she was doing it because it was part of a “marriage contract”.
Thankfully, her libido came back within a week and she saw improvement in how she was feeling.
