EastEnders star Max Bowden has gone Instagram official with his girlfriend Roisin Buckle.
The actor, 26, who plays Ben Mitchell in the soap, took to his social media to post a photo of Roisin, 36, who he has been dating since May.
Max posted an Instagram story of Roisin as they were enjoying a drink at a pub and she was wearing sunglasses as he wrote: "Glasses inside? Unnecessary no?"
It seems that Roisin has been a 'great comfort' to Max while he's had a difficult year as his best friend passed away in September as well as another two close friends earlier in the year.
The MailOnline quotes a source as stating: "Max and his gorgeous girlfriend Roisin have been together since May.
"Roisin has been a great comfort to Max, who's suffered a lot of heartbreak recently, with the loss of a close friend in June, and then devastatingly his best friend last month."
Before dating Roisin, Max was in a relationship with Danielle McCarney but they reportedly split back in June.
A source told The Mirror at the time: "Max and Danielle's split had been on the cards for a while.
"The relationship was a whirlwind at the start but ran into trouble a few months ago. They tried to make it work but they decided to remain friends. Nobody else was involved."
Max's representatives have been contacted for comment.
Max posted a tribute for his best friend Maxwell Alexander Grey Thompson when he died in September consisting of a series of photos of the pair.
In the caption Max thanked his friend for being the 'best friend for 15 years' and called him his rock, his ride or die and his everything.
He ended the post: "I will love you forever my beautiful brother, wherever you are now, show them what’s what. I vow to always #bemoremax."
Earlier in the year, Max also lost his friend Luke Goodings.
At the time Max took to his social media where he wrote: "Lukey, will always love you my bro. Rest easy now. Freestyle the s*** out of it up there."
Max also shared a GoFundMe page to raise money for Luke's funeral.
Max wrote: "We’re trying to raise funds for Luke’s funeral and I’d really appreciate any donation big or small to help us with the costs. Sending everybody love and remember you're not alone. Talk if you need to. Luke, we love you."
The star's agent died in February after contracting coronavirus in Mexico and falling into a coma.
