Denise Van Outen, 48, and her ex fiancé Eddie Boxshall had spent seven long years together before they called it quits. The couple were best known for their time on Channel 4’s Celebrity Gogglebox.
It had come as Denise discovered her husband-to-be had been sending explicit texts to other women.
She went vocal about how her self-respect was more important than trying to make things work with Eddie.
More recently, Eddie has decided to come clean about his actions and issue a grovelling apology to his former fiancée.
Despite the bitter split, Eddie nevertheless has wished Denise the best and has been focusing on his own well-being.

“You know any break-up’s hard, for whatever reason, and it makes it worse, you know, certain things get printed in the press.
“And there’s two sides to every story,” Eddie told The Sun.
Since the split, Denise has started dating Jimmy Barba, and Eddie has expressed he is deeply happy for Denise.
“There is no animosity. Life goes on, The world carries on going round. She’s happy. I’m really happy she’s moved on.
“And I wish all the love and luck in the world. I’m still yet to start dating. I’m looking at career wise first. Once I’m ready to move on, I’ll move on.”
Eddie’s statement came after Denise told OK! that she had “too much self respect” to try and salvage the relationship.
“I’ve got too much self-respect and I just can’t live like that, I felt like, in a few selfish moments, he’d ruined it.
“I couldn’t imagine it ever feeling the same.”
“I believe everything happens for a reason, so I don’t really have any regrets at all, it just shapes you for the next part of your life.
“If anything, I wish I’d known how to get myself out of heartbreak a little bit more, it’s a horrible thing to be stuck in it, and I think when I was younger I didn’t do the right things.”
The former couple started dating in 2014 and appeared on Gogglebox a number of times since.
Back in June, her Celebrity Gogglebox pal Duncan James had told how she got her “sparkle back” after finding love again.
The Blue star said: “After the year that she’s had, she just deserves some happiness.’
“I’m just really happy for her and she’s got her smile back and her sparkle back.
“It’s really lovely to see that,” he added to The Mirror.
It came as Denise had been taking to Instagram to show off Jimmy in view of her 671,000 followers.
Sharing a sultry selfie, Denise leaned on Jimmy as they enjoyed a holiday in Marbella.
The Celebrity Gogglebox star captioned the snap: “Marbella @jimmybarba,” alongside a row of red hearts.
