Dani Dyer says Tommy Fury’s proposal to Molly-Mae Hague can’t ‘ever be topped’

Love Island alum Dani Dyer has said nobody can “ever top” Tommy Fury ’s proposal to Molly-Mae Hague after being asked if she’s waiting for beau Jarrod Bowen to pop the question.

The 26 year old reality star has been with her professional footballer partner, also 26, since 2021 and the couple welcomed baby twins Summer and Star earlier this year. Taking part in a fan Q&A on Instagram, the mum of three was asked a number of questions, from her haircare routine and parenting struggles, to her thoughts on the new blockbuster smash-hit Barbie film.

One fan also quipped: “Waiting for Jarrod to pop the question [eyes and diamond ring emojis]”. Dani responded with her trademark light-hearted and self-effacing nature. She penned: “I mean after Tommy Fury’s proposal who can ever top that?? [crying laughing emojis]”.

In the next clip, she moved on and immediately answered a question about taking her twins to West Ham games to support their father, with the star confirming she will “definitely” be taking her children to football matches.

Molly-Mae and Tommy became engaged after a romantic proposal over the weekend, four years after meeting in the Love Island villa. The elaborate display was planned weeks in advance, with Tommy going to the effort to invite his bombshell beauty to a faux brand event to keep her from guessing his plans.

Molly-Mae, 24, shared a gorgeous black-and-white video of the proposal, where she held their daughter Bambi as Tommy, also 24, got down on one knee. She simply captioned the footage: "Forever. 23/07/23" with an engagement ring and a crying emoji.

In the clip, the social media star is seen wearing a white jumpsuit as she walks towards a cliff where Tommy, in a suit, is waiting with their baby, surrounded by hundreds of roses. An emotional Molly-Mae beams from ear-to-ear as Tommy gets down on one knee with a stunning diamond ring.

The former Islander is then seen excitedly nodding her head as Tommy then leans in to kiss his new wife-to-be as she breaks down in tears. At the end of the stunning video, the couple stare into the distance while cuddling as they look to their future as husband and wife.

Before meeting and falling in love on the hit reality dating show back in 2019, Molly-Mae was a social media influencer, while Tommy was a professional boxer. With Tommy entering the villa just hours after the original line-up, it wasn’t until four days later that he met his match in bombshell Molly-Mae, and the rest is history.

Choosing Tommy to go on a first date with, the two hit things off straight away and chose to get together in the series’ first recoupling. Throughout the show, the pair’s relationship brought viewers plenty of rom-com-worthy highlights, including in Casa Amor when Tommy refused to share a bed with a person who wasn’t Molly-Mae and instead slept outside with her cuddly toy, Ellie Belly.

After becoming boyfriend and girlfriend while still in the villa (with the help of Ellie Belly, no less), Molly-Mae and Tommy finished the show in second place, with Amber Gill and Greg O’Shea being crowned winners of the series.
