She added: I am super competitive and I have two older brothers so I have always had to compete for the limelight being the only girl. I am really looking forward to getting stuck in.’

Scarlette continued: ‘I am looking for love potentially, haha. I just like a good honest and trustworthy man, thats it. But I did hear there might be a man in the jungle with a good set of muscles. So if I head to the jungle I would like to see a muscley guy. I am looking for a Tarzan out there.’

The property expert added that though she would like to win the show, the experience is more about ‘making new friends’ and doing things she wouldn’t normally have the chance to do.

And now Mike, 44, is the seventh contestant to have confirmed his place on the show by arriving in the country, which he has described as a ‘special place’ because it is where he met his wife, Zara Phillips, 41.

‘You’ve just got to get your head around doing what you’re doing and try and win some stars and stuff and see where you go from there. I want to win stars because I want to eat!

‘The hanger is always going to be the biggest thing you have got to worry about but I’ve also got three kids, so dealing with lack of sleep comes with the territory.’
