GOING to Disneyland for the first time can be both an exciting and an overwhelming prospect.
There are so many exciting things to see and do that it's almost impossible to know where to start when making a plan.
However, theme park experts at AttractionTickets.com have analysed TikTok hashtag data to uncover what the real ‘must-see’ attractions are around the park, so guests know what to prioritise.
Perhaps surprisingly, given the amount of rides and attractions at the park, the number one thing to do isn't a rollercoaster or a landmark.
According to the data, the most popular thing to do is meet the characters who can be found wandering around and posing for photos with park-goers when they aren't taking part in parades.
The most popular characters at Disneyland Paris include Ariel and Donald Duck.

While it might sound easy to tick off meeting all your favourite characters, they often move around the park, making some more difficult to find.
Anyone hoping to meet Ariel at Disneyland Paris, is recommended to head to the Princess Pavilion or the Auberge de Cendrillon in Fantasyland.
However, Donald Duck doesn’t have a scheduled meet-and-greet location – it can be a matter of luck whether you spot him.
According to Disneyland Paris TripAdvisor reviews, the most likely areas to meet him include Fantasyland, Adventureland or the Production Courtyard in the Studios.

Away from the characters, Peter Pan’s Flight, located in Fantasyland is the most popular ride at the park, according to Tiktok.
The rail-suspended ride is designed to make park-goers feel as though they’re flying over scenes from the movie as they coast over London rooftops, Neverland and Captain Hook’s ship.
It’s particularly great for young children or for those who want a ride with a more gentle experience.
While this ride is nearly identical to the Disney World version, in Disneyland Paris the flight is 3 minutes long, while other versions are typically 2.5 minutes.
Among the other most popular things to do at the park, going to the Sleeping Beauty Castle, riding Big Thunder Mountain, seeing the rest of Fantasyland and trying Disney-themed food and snacks were also high up on the list.
Meanwhile this is a full list of people who can skip queues when they visit Disneyland.
And this secret wristband means that you don't have to wait in line for rides at the park.
