Strictly Come Dancing fans have predicted a blow for professional dancer Neil Jones, as they suggest he may find himself without a celebrity partner for the second year in a row.
Following the announcement of this year's star-studded lineup, which includes ex-Emmerdale actor Adam Thomas, former Love Islander Zara McDermott, and broadcaster Angela Scanlon, fans have shared their predicted pairings, with many predicting that Neil will miss out once again.
Posting to Reddit, one superfan shared their predictions, which they finished with: "Leaving Neil, Lauren & Michelle on the bench."
Others agreed with this prediction, although some did suggest a potential pairing, with one commenter replying: "I can see Neil with Angela Rippon, though with his baby due in autumn completely see why he wouldn’t get a partner."
And a third shared that while they think Neil will be without a partner they hope this won't be the case, writing: "I HOPE he isn't benched again, but the reason I put him there is because I don't know who they'd bench instead.
"With longtime pros like Anton, Oti, Aljaž and Janette no longer returning, I'd think the producers would want to keep the likes of Karen, Giovanni and Gorka for as long as possible so we certainly wouldn't be seeing them benched I'd think."
Fans have also suggested that Neil may have even requested to be without a partner this year, with his baby with fiancée Chyna Mills being due in the coming months.
Chyna shot to fame when she appeared on Love Island, and although she didn't find love on the show, she did find the man of her dreams in dancer, within mere weeks of leaving the show.
And the couple have since announced the exciting news that they are engaged – and in a double whammy of good news, are also expecting their first child together.
Taking to social media to reveal their baby joy, Chyna said she "feels like I'm dreaming", as Neil penned on Instagram: "Excitement is an understatement”.
Neil had originally intended to propose to Chyna earlier this year, but their baby joy soon helped "everything come together”.
The loved-up pair kept things fairly lowkey when they started dating in August 2022, however just weeks later, after some speculation from fans, Neil and Chyna finally went public with their romance by attending the Guardians of the Galaxy experience in London together.
They were also spotted enjoying a romantic getaway to the city of love, Paris, where they walked hand in hand down the picturesque streets of the French capital.
After sharing their romance with the world, a number of other public appearances followed, including at The People’s Pet Awards, where the pair cheekily ruled out the chance of Chyna appearing on Strictly anytime soon, by declaring the Love Islander would need to “learn to dance first!”
