You can win an all-inclusive trip to Mexico every year for the next 20 years

The Mexican city of Cancun has been working hard to entice travellers.

Earlier in the year, they offered free hotels, meals, theme park tickets, and car hire to encourage more tourism.

And now they’re raising the stakes.

The Hotel Associations of Cancun, Puerto Morelos & Isla Mujeres, the Riviera Maya, Cozumel, and the Grand Costa Maya are working together once again to give away an incredible deal.

They are offering an all-inclusive holiday for two people at popular resorts across the Mexican Caribbean every year for the next 20 years.

Winners will get a certificate for a stay every year which is valid for a 20-year period.

The stay can be at any four or five-star hotels in the different Mexican Caribbean tourist destinations.

The certificate, which offers an all-inclusive plan, is valid for a five or six-night stay and can only be used for two guests.

The rules to enter the competition are pretty simple.

According to their website, you have to follow @Come2MexicanCaribbean on Instagram or TikTok.

Then upload your own photo or video related to the Mexican Caribbean on Instagram or TikTok, tagging @Come2MexicanCaribbean, and using the hashtag #Come2MexicanCaribbean.

Now it is a bit of a popularity contest as, according to the website, the more likes and shares you get, the more likely you are to win.

You can post on both Instagram and TikTok to boost your chances and enter multiple posts (but you can only be selected once as a winner).

The competition opened at the end of July and will stay open until 9 November.

The winner has to be 18 or older and will be announced on 27 November.

As tempting as the offer is, It’s worth noting that the Foreign, Commonwealth & Development Office currently advises British nationals against all but essential international travel except to countries and territories which are exempt.

Unfortunately, Mexico is not part of the countries and territories that have been assessed as no longer presenting an unacceptably high risk to British people travelling abroad.

At the moment Mexico has had 68,484 coronavirus-related deaths.

But if you do enter, you can always aim to use your certificate for next year or any of the following years for the next two decades.
