It is often said that women prefer a boyfriend who is taller than them – but one woman has taken to TikTok to throw that stereotype in the bin.
Annalivia Hynds, who posts on TikTok as @annaliviahynds23, insists that she loves having a "short king" boyfriend for a number of reasons, including the fact that his jeans are a perfect fit for her.

“I have a boyfriend who’s five foot five. He’s going through his cupboards and he says, ‘Oh, I don’t want these jeans.’
"He’s never worn them. He doesn’t want them, he was going to bin them.”
Her boyfriend briefly interrupted her to correct his height to 5'6", before Annalivia then showed the ASOS jeans that were a waist 31”, leg 30”.
She added: "So he had them in the bin and I was like, ‘Oh let me try them on first, they might fit me.’”
Annalivia then tried them on – showing how they fit her figure perfectly as she stood facing a full-length mirror.
“Look at the fit of these, I’m telling you, you wouldn’t even get girls’ jeans fitting like this," she added.
She then concluded that she was thrilled that she had gotten a free pair of jeans and insisted that she would never want a tall boyfriend because of it.

She said: “I literally just got myself a pair of jeans for free – and if you had a boyfriend who was six foot, you wouldn’t be in this situation. So, girls, we stand for our short Kings.”
And her followers agreed as users flocked to the comments to praise relationships with shorter men.
One user said: “Having a short partner is elite.”
Another added: “Short Kings for the win!”
A third said: "I need a short king!!"
