We’re SO glad it’s back.
The Premier League and fantasy football returned at the weekend, with Tammy Abraham and Teemu Pukki impressing us the most.
But as we reach the meaty stage of the season – and with the Champions League returning this week – we’re taking a look at how Dream Team’s most expensive players have been getting on and whether they’ve been worth their weight in gold…

Mohamed Salah (£7.7m)
Salah, along with Aguero, started the season as Dream Team’s priciest player at £7.5m.
But that didn’t seem to put too many of you off, with well over 50% of managers opting for the Liverpool forward in their attack.
Four goals so far this season – including a brilliant brace against Arsenal – has given him 41 points on the game, putting him well up there with the best.
Sergio Aguero (£7.6m)
Tammy’s our top points scorer on Dream Team right now, but he’s level-pegging with Aguero in terms of goals scored.
The pair currently have seven apiece in all competitions, although with Man City travelling to Shakhtar Donetsk later this week in the Champions League – expect Aguero to add to his tally.
Harry Kane (£7.3m)
Four goals for England in their games against Bulgaria and Kosovo last week is actually more than he’s managed for Spurs so far this term.
It all started so well too, with a late brace against Aston Villa in their Premier League opener – but just a single goal against Arsenal since means he’s lagging behind the usual suspects.
Raheem Sterling (£6.9m)
Sterling remains Dream Team’s most-picked player this season with nearly 64% of managers selecting the Man City midfielder.
Averaging a brilliant 9 points a game, the tricky forward remains our personal favourite to finish the campaign as top points-scorer.
Kevin De Bruyne (£6.3m)
It’s just De Bruyne’s world and we’re living in it, right?
For many, KDB is the best player in the Premier League at the moment, and he might just make the difference for Man City this season as they compete with Liverpool for the league title.
He’s certainly one of the best midfielders on Dream Team with 29 points, although his tally is equal to Chelsea’s Mason Mount – who’s some £4.5m cheaper.
Sadio Mane (£6.2m)
With four goals this season, Mane’s actually level with his Liverpool teammate Salah.
But he’s just ahead in our points chart – which is clearly more important – with 44 points compared to the Egyptian’s 41.
Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang (£5.9m)
Arsenal will be reeling from their collapse against Watford at the weekend, but at least they have one of the Premier League’s most reliable goal-scorers in Aubameyang.
PEA has five this season – including the two he netted at Watford – with Liverpool being the only team he’s failed to score past so far.
Virgil van Dijk (£5.8m)
It’s been a relatively quiet start to the season for our only defender on this list.
Van Dijk would set you back a massive £6m on Dream Team at the start of the campaign, but after only picking up 19 points so far he’s seen his price decrease down to £5.8m.
The likes of Lucas Digne (29 points), Patrick van Aanholt (23 points), and Willy Boly (23 points) are currently outscoring the hard-tackling Dutchman, with the Reds keeping just one clean-sheet so far.
