Parents rave about Disney weighted blankets for kids and they cost less than £20

Parents are delighted after discovering that supermarket Aldi are selling weighted blankets for children that are super affordable.

A couple of mums took to Facebook to share the news in the Extreme Couponing and Bargains UK group, and included some pictures too.

Dani Collins simply wrote: “Weighted blankets Aldi, £19.99,” alongside a snap of a Disney blanket.

Lottie Ockelton opted for a Marvel design and wrote alongside her purchase: "Weighted blankets in stock today in Aldi.

"I had to ask staff as they hadn't put any out and had them all in the back . Several to choose from. 19.99."

Fellow members of the group were quick to comment on the post and claimed they would be heading to their local store to try and purchase one

One person wrote: "These are a bargain the frozen ones are 45/55£ in very. I've just picked up one for my little girl and the Pixar for my nephew. Both cheaper than the price one would have cost elsewhere (sic)."

Another user tagged a friend and wrote: "Rhis may be of some help to little man. Some of my residents have them and they can be a great comfort when all else is failing. Was going to suggest this to you the other week xxx."

However, another person was keen to give parents some advice on using the items for kids.

"Just wanted to mention weighted blankets should NOT be used over night," they wrote.

"These are to help calm and regulate anyone with sensory issues anxiety etc and are weighted to suit the person's own body weight.

"Please use care and caution. They can be very helpful but always use with supervision," they added.
