Patsy Palmer pulled out all the stops for her son Fenton’s big birthday bash as he turned 21 at their Malibu home on Monday.
The former EastEnders star, 49, took to her Instagram story to document the special occasion with her 335,000 followers online as her son celebrated the day with his close family and friends.
With the glorious LA weather shining down on the festivities, her husband Richard Merkell pulled out the barbecue and decorated their lavish outdoor space with birthday decorations for Fenton with the stunning view of the ocean behind them.
Fenton’s friends and his sister Emilia, 19, gathered around the huge outdoor sofas and danced the day away as they enjoyed various barbecued meats from the grill and their first legal American drink.
Patsy, who recently celebrated her 49th birthday, shared several memorable videos of the birthday boy which she captioned the post: “This is how we do it.”
The actress turned DJ and entrepreneur then went on to give a touching tribute to her second eldest son in a beautiful post on Sunday ahead of his milestone celebrations.
She wrote: “Happy Birthday to our moon child. 21 years of one of the kindest, funniest, smartest boys we know.

“21 years of kindness & love shines from you and blesses us as your parents every day. We love you. We survived your entry to the world for a magical reason.”
She added: “We all have a purpose and you certainly have shown us that yours is LOVE.”
Patsy, who recently hit out at "disgraceful" trolls in a twitter rant, and her husband Richard are parents to Fenton, 21, Emelia, 19 and Bertie, 10, as well as her son Charley, 29, who she shares with her ex Alfie Rothwell.
The family-of-six made the move out to LA in 2014 when they swapped out their Brighton home for the sunny hills of California.
This comes after Patsy switched off her video call during an interview on Good Morning Britain after she noticed the description on the screen called her an “addict.”
The soap star joined hosts Susanna Reid and Ben Shepherd to speak about her healthy lifestyle in Malibu, California.
But a few minutes into the interview with the trio as they discussed her new life across the pond, the mum-of-four noticed the description at the bottom of the screen that read: “Patsy Palmer: Addict to Wellness Guru.”
Clearly unimpressed, she said: "You know what actually, I don’t even want to do this interview because I don’t even want to look at what it says at the bottom of that screen."
Referring to Piers Morgan’s not-infamous storm off set in March after ranting about Meghan Markle, Patsy continued: “So I’m just going to switch off, do a real Piers Morgan and just say, it’s not okay to have ‘addict to wellness guru’ at the bottom of the screen.”
Her husband Richard played a vital part in helping her work through her drug and alcohol addiction which plagued her in her 20s, but now the actress is sober and enjoying her life in the States with her family.
