Facebook user shares ‘awesome’ cleaning hack for tackling dirty toilet bowls

No matter how much detergent we use, sometimes our toilet bowls will always pick up nasty dirt around it.

So if you’re constantly at battle with your loo, then here’s a cleaning hack you wish you knew sooner.

Posting on Facebook , the woman shared her trick on the Cleaning Tips & Tricks group which shows her before and after transformation.

In the first photo, it shows a very nasty brown – almost black – bowl and in the last snap, it’s completely clean.

She said: “Today’s work, it didn’t seem bad until I opened the lid, but the end results look amazing.

“Before and after photos of a toilet I cleaned for work last night. So so sorry I didn’t post how I cleaned it, it was late at night when I posted this.”

The Facebook user continued: “But I used Clorox gel bleach toilet cleaner and a scoring stone lots of scrubbing, the stone is the best. That’s what really did the work here.”

Members of the cleaning group were also very impressed by the results, with over 400 users commenting on the post.

One said: “What an awesome job.”

Another added: “Well f***ing done.”

A third commented: “It’s unbelievable I don’t know how you managed it, well done.”

While a fourth praised: “You deserve a medal and £50 an hour.”

Mrs Hinch swears by a “lush” bathroom product to clean her washing machine drawers.

Posting on her Instagram Stories last week, Mrs Hinch wrote: “Need to quickly clean my washing machine drawer! The machine itself (the drum and rim etc) is fine but the drawer needs doing.

“But as you all know I use Flash bathroom to clean my WM drawer. Have done for years I know it’s for the bathroom but it works so well.

“It’s designed to get rid of soap scum and that’s what builds up from your fabric conditioners etc so it works so well for this and smells lush.”
