Drunk Taylor Swift Just Lip-Synced the Hell Out of "You Need to Calm Down" and Swifties Are Obsessed

Taylor Swift is out here having the biggest year of her life. She’s dropping a new album, she just now realized she can be an ally for communities she’s not part of (better late than never), she was on the cover of Vogue‘s September issue, she and Katy Perry finally made up, and she rolled up to the Teen Choice Awards on Sunday looking amazing despite being hungover and giving birth to the best video on the internet the night before.

In case ya haven’t heard or were busy being on the same level that Tay-Tay was all weekend and didn’t check Twitter, Taylor was out here living her best life and singing and dancing to her own song, “You Need to Calm Down.” Nobody knows if Taylor was sipping on White Claws all night, but the video was dubbed “Drunk Taylor” because she was clearly on another level with her moves and nowhere near calming down while her song was playing.

Please, get your life by watching this video on repeat:

Drunk Taylor is me after one Absolut + La Croix cocktail jamming to her music videos in my living room. #Mood

I mean, the fake shot taking, the hair flipping, the shimmying, the pure talent that was on display! This video was truly all her fans needed to forget about that horrifying Cats trailer. (I’m still not—and will never be—over it, but this helped a little.)

There’s also this clip, which speaks for itself.

Taylor said this video was taken at a party with some of the people who helped make the “ME!” and “YNTCD” and even shared more photos from the night while approving of the “Drunk Taylor” jokes.

Threw a party to celebrate with the people who made the ME! & YNTCD videos with me- and we had so much fun that ‘Drunk Taylor’ is trending on Twitter. CHEERS. 😆🍾👍👏 pic.twitter.com/HPvQlSDSBM

Alrighty, now let’s keep this energy going for the VMAs, Taylor! I need more reaction GIFS!
