Being famous doesn't always last and while you're making money the best thing to do is to invest it for the future.
And while many often opt to snap up property some celebrities have gone one step further and invested in their own pubs, bars, beauty salons and even a barbers shop to keep the income flowing.
Ed Sheeran, Jodie Kidd, Sir Ian McKellan and soap star Adam Rickett have all snapped up their own boozers to boost their property portfolios.
Even reality stars are getting in on the act with Gemma Collins showing off her brother's pub he built next to his house on her Diva Forever show, as well as Kerry Katona's back garden boozer, Chloe Ferry's home bar, and Amy Child's pop-up one in her garden.

Dexter and Jones – Adam Rickett
Hollyoaks actor Adam Rickitt, 42, and his wife Katy, 36, recently gave OK! magazine an exclusive look inside the gin bar they own, which they’ve been forced to turn into an off licence during the pandemic.
But because of the recent coronavirus pandemic, the couple have closed down Dexter and Jones bar in Knutsford, and instead opened as an off licence to serve locals their favourite artisan gins and craft beer.
The couple added that running the business has been keeping them busy, as filming for Hollyoaks was suspended during the lockdown.

Bertie Blossoms – Ed Sheeran
Ed Sheeran has amassed quite the portfolio of properties owning over 20 at an estimated value of nearly £47 million, including a dazzling country estate in Norfolk known to locals as 'Sheeran Ville.'
He opened his pub Bertie Blossoms, based in Notting Hill, London, last October, and when it was forced to close due to coronavirus he refused to furlough any of his staff.
The pub has been running a takeaway and delivery service since the beginning of June and is expected to reopen in line with the government guidelines.
The Half Moon – Jodie Kidd
Supermodel, racing driver and landlord Jodie Kidd, 40, purchased The Half Moon, a gorgeous, rustic and quintessentially British pub located in the heart of Kirdford, West Sussex.
The country Gastropub serves up local produce, sourced from the surrounding area as well as ingredients picked straight from the allotment on site.
On the pub's website Kidd said the aim of the Half Moon was “to establish a home from home, somewhere vibrant, welcoming and charming, where guests can enjoy exceptional British produce with international flavours inspired by my travels.”

The Grapes – Sir Ian McKellen
Sir Ian McKellen snapped up historic pub The Grapes in 2011 along with two other business partners after he discovered it was up for sale.
The local in Limehouse, east London, was once frequented by Charles Dickens, so it only seems right the ownership fell into the hands of the thespian actor.
In November 2019, the Grapes had a small fire causing some damage to the second floor of the building, but 500 years later it is still standing and has even survived a World War II bombing.
Whitbread Plc – Gemma Collins' brother
Technically this isn't open to the public but Gemma Collins' brother Russell has built his own pub called the Whitbread Plc right by his lavish Essex home.
The property was the main focus of Gemma's ITVBe show Diva In Lockdown, as she stayed in a bungalow on her brother's land while they followed the government's lockdown rules.
Along with Russell's wife Dawn and her nephew, they party the evening away in the boozer which has a fully-stocked bar, pool table and arcade games.
