Brad Pitt is having fun with fashion.

The Oscar winner made headlines last month when he showed up at the Berlin premiere of his new action flick, “Bullet Train,” wearing a brown linen skirt by Haans Nicholas Mott.

And at the movie’s LA opening Monday, Pitt, 58, shared why he chose the viral look.

“I don’t know! We’re all going to die, so let’s mess it up,” he told Variety.

For the event in Germany’s capital, the “Legends of the Fall” actor paired his skirt with a matching jacket and salmon-colored linen shirt, along with Stylmartin combat boots and layered necklaces.

The outfit was a smart pick for Berlin’s blistering temperatures, which soared into the mid-90s on the day of the premiere; when asked why he opted for a skirt at the time, Pitt quipped, “The breeze. The breeze.”

The garment split those on social media, with many praising the star’s gender-fluid fashion move.

“Just when you think Brad Pitts [sic] couldn’t get sexier, he wears a skirt,” one person tweeted, while another wrote, “All the dinosaurs aghast today at Brad Pitt in a skirt. I freaking love it, personally!”

Others weren’t so sure. “Whoever convinced Brad Pitt to wear a skirt should be flogged,” one critic tweeted; “Hey Grannies, lock up your clothing closets, Brad Pitt might raid it looking for your skirts,” another quipped.

The “Seven” actor’s fondness for skirts is nothing new. Way back in 2004, after spending time in breastplates and leather kilts for “Troy,” Pitt told British Vogue, “Men will be wearing skirts by next summer. That’s my prediction and proclamation.”

While the star wore another linen look by Mott to promote his movie in Los Angeles, he chose a slouchy apple green suit with a teal undershirt and sunny yellow sneakers this time around.

Gotta keep things fresh, after all.
