B&Q Platinum Jubilee Bank Holiday 2022 opening times: What time are stores open today?

THE NATION might be putting their feet up for the four day weekend, but some DIY chores cannot wait.

If you find yourself needing a barbecue tool for Platinum Jubilee celebrations – or if the weather turns, an emergency gazebo – you're in luck, as B&Q will be open.

Is B&Q open over the Platinum Jubilee bank holiday? 

B&Q knows how much we Brits love DIY, especially over a four day weekend, so most stores will be staying open.

The larger branches of the hardware store will be open between 8am and 8pm across the bank holiday weekend.

But if you're in a more remote area, you might need to prepare for that long-overdue DIY project in another way.

Store opening times vary across the stores but you will find that your local B&Q is probably open – just on reduced hours.

How can I find the opening hours for my local B&Q store? 

Double check your local shop is open for business by clicking online to the brand's store finder.

On here you can be sure of the exact opening hours for your nearest store.

Is B&Q delivering over the Platinum Jubilee bank holiday and weekend? 

Luckily, if you're too busy with Jubilee celebrations the hardware store is still open for orders online.

B&Q said: "Over the bank holiday weekend some deliveries may take longer than usual, however all services will be resume to normal on Monday."

Standard delivery costs £5, but it's free for orders over £50.

B&Q can usually deliver on a typical Sunday so this won't change for the weekend.

But times for delivery services can range from 3 days to 5 weeks so it's unlikely you'll receive your order in time for the bank holiday anyway.

Click and collect is free at the store though, so if you are ready to pick up your items the next day then you can do so at your local store.
