Mary-Kate Olsen's Former N.Y.C. Home for Sale as Part of $16 Million Two-Townhouse Deal

You could move into Mary-Kate Olsen‘s former townhouse in a New York minute … if you have a cool $8 million to spend.

From 2012 to 2014, Olsen and now-husband Olivier Sarkozy rented the five-bedroom townhouse in Manhattan’s St. Marks Historic District, the New York Post reports.

The five-story townhouse is now listed for $8.3 million with Jason Haber of Warburg Realty.

Built in the 19th century, the 4,200 square-foot townhome features its original fireplaces, mantels, moldings, skylights and stairwells. While they were tenants, Olsen and Karkozy reportedly made updates and renovations to the chefs kitchen and bathrooms.

According to the listing, the home may be purchased as part of a two-townhouse deal for $15.99 million with the neighboring property, which Sarkozy had owned but sold in 2014. The two townhouses, which were reportedly built at the same time, can be combined into one palatial home, as they share “one of the largest private gardens in Manhattan,” the listing reads.

This second property, which is also five stories high, boasts three bedrooms— including a sprawling master suite with walk-in closets—six fireplaces, and a spacious eat-in chef’s kitchen.

Mark Amadei and Jonathan Hettinger of Sotheby’s International Realty hold the individual listing for the second property, which can be bought on its own for $7.695 million.

The New York Post reports that Sarkozy purchased this neighboring 4,200 square-foot property in 2012 for $6.24 million, but he and Olsen never moved in—choosing to live in the first rental next door. Two years later, Sarkozy reportedly sold the property for $6.4 million to artist Aaron Young and his wife Laurie Heriard Dubreul, CEO of the luxury boutique The Webster.

In 2014—a year before the pair were married—Sarkozy and Olsen said goodbye to both of the East Village homes and reportedly bought and moved into another townhouse in Manhattan’s Turtle Bay neighborhood, which they still own.
