Jasmine (Sam Frost), Robbo (Jake Ryan) and Tori (Penny McNamee) all have a lot on their plates with the upcoming wedding and baby scans. Robbo is feeling nervous about Tori’s scan the next day, and Jasmine offers to support him by tagging along. But Robbo insists he’s fine and is trying to stay positive. Besides, Jasmine has a lot to get on with, as she’s doing most of the wedding organising.
When Jasmine gets a text saying her wedding invites have arrived, she gets excited and races home to see them. After opening them, she gazes at them – the wedding now feels so real.
Looking over the guest list with her, Willow (Sarah Roberts) spots an Ian and Wendy Shaw at the top – Robbo’s parents. She asks Jasmine what they’re like, but she admits she doesn’t know, as she hasn’t met them. This surprises Willow, and Jasmine feels anxious as a result. She asks Willow if she thinks it’s weird that she hasn’t met her future in laws, and Willow nods.
Later, Jasmine quizzes Robbo about his parents, and what growing up on the farm was like. Robbo tells her about his childhood, and she is engrossed, saying it sounds amazing. The next day, Jasmine finds out about Dean’s (Patrick O’Connor) situation with Mac (Emily Weir) and can relate – she’s about to marry into a family she doesn’t even know.
Jasmine offers to hold off on mailing the wedding invites out until they get the results from Tori’s scan. Then she suggests they postpone the wedding if the results are bad. Although Robbo is taken aback, Jasmine insists, saying she wants him to be there for Tori fully without the wedding hanging over him.
Then she tells him that she wants to meet his parents. Robbo says she will – at the wedding. But Jasmine is adamant – that’s not good enough. She wants to meet them now…
