Despite its international presence, UNDERCOVER retains a relatively low-key digital presence, having only introduced its own web store in mid 2019. For the first time ever, that digital storefront is offering a limited sale, discounting a vast array of goods for a short time only.
Described as “a thank you for the continued support” in a press release, UNDERCOVER’s debut “MAD SALE” encompasses many disparate items from the Japanese brand’s mainline collection, JOHN and SUE diffusion lines, accessories and some MADSTORE exclusives. Outerwear, trousers, shoes and plenty of graphic-laden T-shirts are on hand, from puffy jackets to cargo pants to in-house sneaker-boots to branded backpacks.
Of course, not everything is affected by the discount; special goods like the Kurosawa-printed puffers and made-to-order sacai jackets will still be priced as normal. However, note that when purchasing over ¥30,000 JPY (approximately $290 USD), customers will receive an additional ¥5,000 JPY (approximately $50 USD) discount off their selection.
View the sale on UNDERCOVER’s web store and shop until it ends on November 24.
Though UNDERCOVER is intentionally discounting items here, Prada recently made waves when it inadvertently discounted goods by nearly 100%.
