Nike Looks to Oregon for ACG Holiday 2020 Collection

Nike has presented its latest ACG collection, looking to Smith Rock in Oregon, a volcanic structure just a few hours away from Nike’s headquarters. All of the pieces in the collection are named after trails around Smith Rock, while the colors and patterns of the rocks are represented through graphics across the collection.

The Holiday 2020 collection’s apparel unsurprisingly focuses on durability and functionality, with GORE-TEX items featuring prominently. The Misery Range GORE-TEX jacket is waterproof, windproof and breathable, while other stand-out pieces include the Rope De Dope Jacket — an insulated, packable puffer jacket — and the Polartec Wolf Tree Hoodie, a new fleece constructed from 100% recycled materials.

Additionally, Nike is introducing new footwear for the ACG Holiday 2020 collection. As well as a new colorway of Air Nasu silhouette, the collection also features the Mountain Fly GORE-TEX boot. The boot owes a lot to Nike’s NEXT% system, with a carbon fiber plate and Nike React foam added, while the GORE-TEX upper keep the elements out. The silhouette’s outsole features a waffle pattern and multi-directional traction help the wearer conquer tricky terrain.

Take a look through the collection in the gallery above, as well as an up-close look at the Mountain Fly silhouette. The ACG Holiday 2020 collection will release on November 12 through the Nike app and web store, while the Mountain Fly will be available through SNKRS.

For more from Nike, the Nike Dunk has now been named shoe of the year for 2020.
