Mum turns daughter’s playhouse into an epic haunted house using Poundland and Home Bargain finds

A MUM has pulled out all the stops to turn her daughter’s playhouse into an epic haunted house for Halloween with Poundland and Home Bargain finds.

The creative mum said she achieved the spooky look on a budget and hopes to put a smile on kids' faces as they pass by the house.

Taking to the Facebook group Extreme Couponing and Bargains UK, she shared photos of her incredible make.

The pink playhouse has been covered in fake cobwebs, and decorated with bats, a broomstick and pumpkins.

The mum has also added Trick or Treat signs, and gone all out to make it resemble a haunted house.

She wrote: “Thanks to our local bargain shops myself and my daughter have created a little haunted house in our front drive.

“The witches cabin awaits! We had a blast decorating it.

“I really hope we make some children smile that pass by our house (especially as Halloween is going to look a little different this year.) That’s what it’s all about!”

She revealed how she mainly shopped at Poundland and Home Bargains, but added a £10 light projector from Lidl, which has different displays depending on the holiday season.

Many people were seriously impressed with her Halloween house, and some said they wanted to copy it in their own homes.

One raved: “how cool does this look”, and another added: “Looks amazing.”
