Mum Kate Middleton's secret trick behind stunning pictures of George, Charlotte and Louis | The Sun

ROYAL fans have been treated to a number of adorable photos of George, Charlotte and Louis in recent years – and most have been taken by mum Kate Middleton.

The Duchess of Cambridge, 40, has showcased her photography talents for a number of official snaps of the kids, and has a secret trick to getting the perfect shot.

Just this weekend, the royal family shared a sweet unseen photo of the three Cambridge kids with dad Prince William to celebrate Father’s Day.

And we have had a number of sweet birthday shots released over the years, including cheeky son Louis covered in paint for his second birthday.

Ingrid Seward, editor in chief of Majesty magazine told the Mirror: “Kate can probably persuade them to do things they might not do otherwise – that’s one reason her pictures are so charming.

“The Duchess studied photography and worked for a while as a photographer’s assistant.

“I would have killed to have taken that picture.

“Everybody's laughing at their mum, and you know that only a mother or a father could get that picture, and it's an absolute winner.

Kate had previously been made an honorary lifetime member of the society, with the director Michael Pritchard previously praising her for her "talent and enthusiasm" behind the lens.

A Kensington Palace spokesperson said: "The Duchess has a longstanding interest in photography, and this patronage will further highlight the beneficial impact that art and creativity can have on emotional wellbeing, particularly for children and young people."
