SOME plus-size women steer clear of wearing bikinis in the sunshine, for fear of being body shamed for their curves.
But Karina Martinez isn't one of those women – and proudly shows off her figure in thong bikinis when she hits the beach.
Karina took to her TikTok page to share a video of herself wearing a red two-piece while at Nikki Beach in Ibiza.
"Here’s how I, a UK size 24, wore a thong bikini in Ibiza," Karina said in her video.
"Day one, we went to Nikki Beach and I put on my new thong bikini for the day.
"We had a really fabulous sun bed in a prime spot on the beach – we did a tonne of walking around, we had so much Rosé. We were there for about 4/5 hours."

Over a clip of herself walking in the sea, she added: "Really loving myself here, enjoying my Rosé in the sea and walking around and seeing everybody.
"As you can see, there were no fainting spells after viewing the cellulite on my ass.
"No-one died seeing my back fat and most of all no-one really said anything."
That's not to say that people didn't stare though.

"There were more than a few stares but that’s pretty much always the case because I’m fat – I’m just as fat in an oversized T-shirt as I am in a bikini," Karina added.
"So here’s a reminder to wear what makes you happy. Cheers!"
People quickly took to the comments section to praise her for sharing the body positivity video, with one writing: "Confidence is key to beauty and you’ve smashed that, you're absolutely beautiful."
"Do you beautiful, don't watch anyone," another added.
"We can all see how you're glowing, yessssss."
