Good Morning Britain favourite Susanna Reid, 49, has stunned her 514,000 Instagram followers with a make-up free snap on the last day of her summer break. The star, who is preparing to return to the ITV show alongside her co-host Piers Morgan, 55, tomorrow, also revealed a change the programme will be making behind-the-scenes following the easing of coronavirus lockdown restrictions.

Susanna and her co-stars had been doing their own hair and make-up as a result of social distancing rules.

However, the television personality informed fans that the show’s “glam squad” will be making a comeback to help the presenters with their on-screen looks.

Susanna shared the news as she showed off her natural beauty in a selfie.

The bare-faced presenter was pictured wearing a white shirt while smiling for the camera, as she relaxed at home.

“Tomorrow the Glam Squad is back… and I am SO looking forward to seeing them. See you tomorrow @GMB.”

One person gushed: “Still beautiful.”

Another added: “Beautiful so looking forward to seeing you back…not the same without you.”

A third person replied: “God you’re beautiful without the slap.”

A fourth admirer responded: “Still a beauty nonetheless.”

A firth fan commented: “So brave! I hate people seeing me without my face on! You’re still beautiful.”

“A natural beauty looking forward to seeing you back,” another GMB viewer agreed.

Elsewhere, Susanna opened up about her “week of carnage” once her son found discovered his A-level results.

It comes after this year’s A-Level students were unable to take their exams this summer and received results based on their teachers’ assessments.

Recalling this year’s results day, Susanna said: “Once logged in, many sixth-formers were blindsided with grades that took little account of their hard work or their teachers’ assessments.

“They were judged by a complicated algorithm that even an A* maths student would fail to understand.

“University places were closed to desperate pupils like doors slamming before their eyes.”

Susanna went on to say in her MailOnline column: “For students, this was devastating.

“As a mum, it was heartbreaking, even though my son was lucky.”

She added: “I had friends WhatsApp me in desperation over their tearful children.”
