Professor Green has been rushed to hospital with a fractured neck after falling as he suffered a terrifying seizure.
The 35-year-old broke the news to fans by sharing three selfies of him strapped to a bodyboard and wearing a head brace.
Posting to Instagram , Professor Green, real name Stephen Manderson, revealed the fall happened when he was packing for his upcoming tour – which he’s now been forced to cancel.
He told fans: "I had seizure this morning which resulted in a fall while I was packing for tour.
"Depending on how you look at this fall I was extremely lucky. I fractured vertebrae in my neck and subsequently had to cancel my tour that was due to start today.
"l be back in the winter with a bigger tour. I’ve had two further seizures and am lucky I didn’t break my neck. Really f***ing lucky. Thanks for baring with me," he added.
The documentary maker also thanked the NHS staff who he called ‘heres amongst men (and women].’
His tour was due to kick off at Cardiff’s The Globe tonight before continuing across the UK at cities including Birmingham, Glasgow and Leeds.
Fans immediately rushed to share their support for his recovery.
"Get well soon! Health is much more important and we all understand," said one.
While another added: "You are lucky to be here, as it could have been so much worse. Take your time, take the doctors advice and get yourself better."
