With a new baby, iconic relationship moments, and some very scandalous situations, it feels like Katy Perry and Orlando Bloom have been together for decades, but it all goes back to 2016, the Golden Globes, and In-N-Out Burger.

After those relationships, the two managed to find each other in the blinding lights of Hollywood. She posts a photo of the two of them splayed out on a staircase in Cannes.
Bloom is photographed nude while he and Perry take in an afternoon of paddleboarding.
"It was extremely surprising," he told British Elle. "I wouldn’t have put myself in that position if I'd thought it would happen. I've been photographed a million times in a million ways. I have a good radar."

Bloom told Elle U.K. that he and Perry were "friends."
"It's good. We're all grown-up," he said. "She happens to be someone who is very visible, but I don't think anybody cares what I'm up to. Nor should they. It's between us."
The couple is officially back together. She would go on to tell Entertainment Tonight, "I have been spoken for and speak for myself."

"You're holding him in a way that I am not excited about," she said as she announced the package, which included a motorcycle ride and lunch. "You're holding his pecs and his six-pack — and it's so glorious. You get to hold on to Orlando for about 45 minutes […] and then, you get to stare into his brown eyes!"
Bidding reached $20,000 thanks to an overzealous guest named Laura, but Perry wasn't having it.
"Laura, I'm sorry. I'm buying it for $50,000," she said before dropping the microphone.

"Full bloom," Perry wrote on Instagram, showing off her new bauble.
Three months later, Perry shared more details about the proposal during an interview on Capital Breakfast with Roman Kemp.
"It was Valentine's Day and I had to work that day," she said. "I just remember meeting him at dinner at this place, this Italian restaurant, because when I get a pass, I just want to stuff my face with pasta."
"So I get there and, I mean, he's like clean-shaven. He's not wearing tennis shoes. I'm like, 'Ah shit, something is going down!'" she continued. "I got on a helicopter and he asked me to marry him, and then we landed on this building and then went downstairs and my family and friends were there and the most flowers you've ever seen."
During an appearance on Jimmy Kimmel Live!, Perry said that she hit and Bloom had an instant connection after the Globes in 2016.
"We bonded over an In-N-Out burger about three years [ago] at the Golden Globes. He stole one off of my table," she said. "He took it, and I was like, 'Wait! Who — oh, you're so hot. Fine, take it!' And then I saw him at a party, and I was like, 'How are those onions resting on your molars?' He's like, 'I like you.'"
Perry said that she's not in a rush to get married.
"It's important to me that we are aligned — I've been married and divorced and I don't want to do it again," Bloom said during an appearance on the Today show. "And we're both fully aware of that. She's remarkable and so I'm always so impressed with that and I'm encouraged."
In an interview with Vogue India, Perry called Bloom "an anchor who holds me down" and "very real."
"He's not the number one fan of Katy Perry, but he's the number one fan of Katheryn Hudson," she said.
"Orlando is like a sage. When we first met, he said we would pull the poison out of each other, and we really do," she added. "It's exhausting, but we really hold each other accountable. I've never had a partner who was willing to go on an emotional and spiritual journey like Orlando. It's challenging because you're facing all the things you don't like about yourself. It's like a never-ending cleanse."

In an interview with The Times of London, Perry said the two of them are connected by "spiritual evolution."
"He's very sensitive. Very emotionally evolved. He gets up at 7 a.m. and chants for an hour. One of the things that binds us is our desire to be more spiritually evolved? And our desire to investigate that realm? One of our main love languages is the spiritual evolution," she said. "We love mysticism, conspiracies, aliens, all that stuff. We love an adventure of the mind. That's definitely something we are bound by."

Perry and Bloom's announced the birth of their daughter, Daisy Dove, via an Instagram post by UNICEF.
"We are floating with love and wonder from the safe and healthy arrival of our daughter," the couple told UNICEF. Communities around the world are still experiencing a shortage of healthcare workers and every eleven seconds a pregnant woman or newborn dies, mostly from preventable causes."
"In celebration of the heart we know our daughter already has, we have set up a donation page to celebrate DDB's arrival," they continued. "By supporting them, you are supporting a safe start to life and reimagining a healthier world for every child."

"It was funny because when she first came out I was like, 'Oh it's me it's a mini-me!' Then, fortunately, she got those Katy blues which was perfect," Bloom said.
