Nearly a decade on from their first kiss, time hasn’t changed a thing for Miley Cyrus and Liam Hemsworth .

The newly-weds tied the knot two days before Christmas, nine years after their very first on-set meeting.

Now fans have been quick to notice that their first embrace as husband and wife looks really familiar.

The pair met while filming The Last Song back as teenagers in 2009 and quickly fell in love.

After posting pictures on Instagram of their big day, the similarity was striking.

Miley uploaded a stunning snap with the caption ’10 years later’ – the first official glimpse into their very private Tennessee wedding.

The romantic hug has already been liked by nearly 6 million people.

The couple became engaged in 2012 but the following year separated.

However it wasn’t the end of the road as they were seen together in 2015. It was later announced that they were engaged again.

They because the latest couple in 2018 to shun the spotlight and instead go for a low-key wedding.

Miley and Liam ended a challenging year in the best way possible.

In November they were left heartbroken after losing their home in California to the devastating wildfires.

Other stars including Kim Kardashian-West and Lady Gaga evacuated their homes, with 250,000 forced to flee.
