Speaking to Daily Star she said: “I’m a lot more relaxed than people think.
“Everyone thinks I’m this regimented person who has to go to the gym at 4am every day but I’m not.
“I love working out, I love feeling active and it’s really good for my mind, but I also have a day off and I don’t beat myself up about it. I don’t cry if I don’t do it.”
Kate, who recently shared plans to have a baby with her husband Rio, revealed she has been going to the gym since she was 13 or 14. But, her healthy attitude to exercise has only developed recently.
Opening up about her previous views on working out she said: “I used to feel like something terrible would happen if I didn’t work out and it used to really take over my life.
“I suffer with anxiety and I added to that by thinking I’d get anxious if I didn’t work out.

The stunning stepmum to Rio’s three children shared some of the intense exercises she does to achieve her figure.
She said: “I work out four or five times a week, doing a mixture of high-intensity interval training and weights depending on how I am feeling. I do squats and lunges and I feel my bum is getting there – it’s a work in progress.
“At the end of every workout, I do an ab finisher, which has five ab exercises – 20 of each so 100 in total. I think the best one is the bicycle crunch, which is good for the obliques on the side of your body.”
