Dark Circles and Dry Undereyes Have Nothing on This Hydrating Concealer

Covering up dark circles is arguably much harder when you’re also dealing with dryness in the same area. Sometimes the formulas that effectively hide my dark circles end up highlighting my dry flakes and fine lines. On the flip side, some of my creamier, more moisturizing concealers don’t offer enough coverage to mask the discoloration.

In my opinion, it really comes down to finding a high-performing concealer that delivers the best of both worlds — like the e.l.f. Cosmetics Hydrating Camo Concealer ($6).

As its name suggests, this product is the more hydrating take on the brand’s cult-classic and TikTok-famous Camo Concealer. It’s available in 25 shades and made with ingredients like sodium hyaluronate and rose-flower water to soothe and hydrate the skin. Another impressive stat? The product promises a full-coverage, satin finish that lasts all day.

The formula has a thick yet still easy-to-blend consistency that covers up dark circles very easily. A little dab of this full-coverage concealer goes a long way, so you don’t really need much to get the job done.

Right now, my entire face is dry, tight, red, and very uncomfortable due to a swim workout in an incredibly chlorinated pool. The good news is that this concealer doesn’t make my dry flakes (some of which are located under my eyes) look any worse. When I’m blending out this concealer, I can definitely tell the formula is infused with hydrating ingredients because it feels like it’s sinking into my skin, as opposed to sitting on top of it.

I like to apply a ton of moisturizer and eye cream right before putting on the Hydrating Camo Concealer to create as smooth of a canvas as possible.

The e.l.f. Cosmetics Hydrating Camo Concealer is also a testament to the fact that beauty products don’t have to be expensive in order to work. This powerful tube rings in at only $6.
