Experimental Dyes Grace Workwear Shapes in Randomevent's SS21 Collection

Having recently issued a standout New Balance collaboration, Shanghai-based brand Randomevent has moved on to introducing its Spring/Summer 2021 collection, “SEEING IS EDITED.” The range is packed with distorted prints that represent warped viewpoints presented by social media and contemporary content delivery; what results is a collection that pushes the envelope of streetwear design.

Classic silhouettes, like leather double riders jackets, intarsia knit sweaters and silk organza shirting, are revised with this theme in mind, yielding splashy colors and treated prints in recognizable cuts. The graphic detailing is key to the range, as blurred shapes, graffiti-inspired designs and vintage dye treatments appear throughout in a variety of makes. Collared shirts, ties and glossy minidresses coincide with casual staples, like matching graphic sets and painted jeans, to further underscore the hybrid ethos.

Keep up with the brand via Randomevent’s website, where the new collection will launch on January 20.

Similarly, statement graphics recently cropped up in BLACK WEIRDOS’ own seasonal offering.
