I always thought that wearing a hat would make you feel too hot when running – but when the sun is on your head you are going to burn.

The Buff Pack Run is really lightweight, so you don’t overheat, and has a UVF of 50 to stop you burning.

It folds to the size of a fist, making it great for travelling, and has technology to deal with sweat management and prevent odour.

Compression leggings

Beachbody has launched fitness wear after teaming up with the science department at Loughborough University to design the kit.

The “Intent Compression Long Tight” is designed to enhance muscular elasticity.

They’re on the big side and I had to go down a size but they’re flattering and comfortable. I love them.

Vita Coco coconut water contains naturally occurring electrolytes such as potassium.

For runners, potassium is great. It helps to prevent muscle cramp. The coconut water has 24kcals per 100ml, 4.7g carbs and 4.2g sugar.

It’s one of the most thirst-quenching recovery drinks I’ve tried.

Budget: Skin Republic, Foot Repair

A serum-infused foot mask to repair dry skin. Contains shea butter to hydrate, and sweet almond seed extract, rich in vitamin E, to soften skin.

Peppermint oil extract is included for its antibacterial properties. I found this really easy to use – remove the booties and place feet inside for 20 minutes.

No need to rinse and my heels were left incredibly soft.
